Terms of Service

These Terms govern your access to and use of the BetterHealthBench website, CLI, API, and published evaluation results ("Services"). This is a draft for review by counsel prior to public launch.

Acceptable use

• Do not use the Services to deliver clinical care without independent clinician oversight. Benchmark results are research artifacts, not medical advice or FDA-cleared indications of safety.
• Do not upload real patient data, PHI, or any information you do not have the right to share.
• Do not attempt to game, poison, or manipulate evaluation datasets (see our contamination controls).
• Do not scrape, mirror, or re-host datasets in a way that would contaminate training corpora.

Benchmark submissions

By submitting a model, you warrant that you have the right to do so and grant us the right to publish evaluation results, including the model's identifier, version, configuration, and scores. We reserve the right to refuse or remove submissions that violate these terms.

No medical advice

Nothing published on BetterHealthBench constitutes medical advice. Scores describe model behavior under our evaluation protocols; they do not establish fitness for any clinical use.

Intellectual property

Datasets, methodology, and site content are licensed under the terms stated on each asset. Code is licensed per the LICENSE file in our GitHub repository.

Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties and limit liability for indirect or consequential damages.

Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced on this page and via the changelog.
